How to use the Transit Level?

1. Distance measurement

  • Point the staff gauge, get the reads of upper&lower, denote the two values "a" and "b"
  • Subtract two numbers and multiply by 100 is the true distance
  • The distance between A and B =(a-b)*100m

2. Height measurement

  • Set the staff gauge virtically at A and B, get the reading of A and B, denote the two values "a" and "b"
  • The hight distancebetween A and B is subtracting two numbers
  • The hight distance between A and B = a-b

3. Angle measurement

• Slight A with virtical hair, read cirde,get angle α • Turn instrument to slight B, get angl β • The angle distance∠AOB=α-β

The KEZERS 36X automatic optical level features a circular bubble with a 90-degree bubble mirror, ±0.5″ auto-leveling, both horizontal/vertical cross hairs and Stadia lines, 36x magnification lens and large aperture for clear image. The range is 393 Ft. with accuracy up to 1/16 in. at 100 Ft.
