  • Yes, this laser level combo kit includes Firecore FD40 laser receiver which can detect the laser line under sunlight. But please note it is hard to see the laser beam directly in the sunlight , the best approach is to pair it with the receiver.

  • Yes, you need to active the pulse mode on the laser level when working with the receiver. On pulse mode, the laser level projects the laser beam at a 10 KHz frequency, and the receiver is designed to detect this same 10 KHz frequency.

  • The accuracy varies with distance, as the distance increases, the laser line becomes thicker, resulting in reduced accuracy. So the longer the distance, the easier to get the center line.

  • Firecore FD40 laser receiver is compatible with all Firecore laser level. If you want to use the receiver with other brands of laser level, please ensure the laser level pulse frequency is 10 KHz.
