Four Key Grinding Surfaces
Contact Wheel Grinding
As the most used grinding surface, the serrated rubber contact wheel provides a cushioned grinding surface and makes grinding and polishing very controllable and smooth. Great for rounding corners, deburring tubing, and other general purpose grinding applications.
Platen Grinding
The top platen provides a sturdy backstop for straightening or truing long edges, as well as sharpening or profiling applications.
Slack Belt Grinding
Slack Belt grinding is a method of belt grinding or polishing where no backing is used behind the belt. Suitable for round and contoured work, slack belt grinding can be performed on the underneath side of the belt opposite the platen.
Disc Grinding
Disc grinding is well suited for shaping and general deburring work, in addition to beveling, and squaring. Use this location with our optional Miter Table accessory for increased control and accuracy!

Mounts in Any Location
For added versatility, the Multitool Attachment can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or in any place in-between. Mount the tool horizontally to use the platen and contact wheel, and mount vertically to utilize the slack belt grinding method to shape the proper contour on your project.
Teaching Old Grinders New Tricks
Multitool Attachments are compatible with most popular brands of grinders with screw-on type wheel guards with no special adapter required. We recommend at least a quality 1/2 hp grinder with a 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch shaft.
