Step 1.Positioning
1.Adjust the sliders on both scales.
2.Hold the handle with one hand and move the slider to the end of the track.
3.Lay the tile flat on the base so that one side of the tile lies against the aluminum block printed with the scale. another side rests on two plastic sliders.
Step 2.Lineation
1.Move the handle so that the knife wheel touches the edge of the tile.
2.Move the handle forward so that the cutting wheel marks a straight line on the tile. If this line is not continuous, it may not be possible to cut the tile.
Step 3.Cutting
1.Raise handle and pull backward gently to make pressing block settled steadily on the front end of the tile. Push down with adequate force and your tile will be divided separately along the line.
Proper technique is important — score once with even pressure, and snap cleanly. Beginners may need a few tries to perfect it.
